and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. #, 24_JER_27_08 And it shall come to pass, [that] the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand. #, 24_JER_27_09 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon, #, 24_JER_27_11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein. #, 24_JER_27_12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. #, 24_JER_27_13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? #, 24_JER_27_14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon, for they prophesy a lie unto you. #, 24_JER_27_17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live, wherefore should this city be laid waste? #, 24_JER_27_20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem; #, 24_JER_28_02 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_28_03 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD'S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon, #, 24_JER_28_04 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_28_11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. #, 24_JER_28_14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him, and I have given him the beasts of the field also. #, 24_JER_29_03 By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying, #, 24_JER_29_21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes; #, 24_JER_29_22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which [are] in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire; #, 24_JER_32_03 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; #, 24_JER_32_04 And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes; #, 24_JER_32_28 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it, #, 24_JER_32_36 And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; #, 24_JER_34_01 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying, #, 24_JER_34_02 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire, #, 24_JER_34_03 And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon. #, 24_JER_35_11 But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians, so we dwell at Jerusalem. #, 24_JER_36_29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? #, 24_JER_37_01 And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah. #, 24_JER_37_17 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out, and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there [any] word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is, for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_37_19 Where [are] now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? #, 24_JER_38_23 So they shall bring out all thy wives and thy children to the Chaldeans, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand, but shalt be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon, and thou shalt cause this city to be burned with fire. #, 24_JER_39_01 In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it. #, 24_JER_39_03 And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, [even] Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_39_05 But the Chaldeans' army pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him. #, 24_JER_39_06 Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes, also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah. #, 24_JER_39_11 Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying, #, 24_JER_40_05 Now while he was not yet gone back, [he said], Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people, or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go. #, 24_JER_40_07 Now when all the captains of the forces which [were] in the fields, [even] they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon; #, 24_JER_40_09 And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans, dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you. #, 24_JER_40_11 Likewise when all the Jews that [were] in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that [were] in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan; #, 24_JER_41_02 Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land. #, 24_JER_41_18 Because of the Chaldeans, for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. #, 24_JER_42_11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD, for I [am] with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. #, 24_JER_43_10 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them. #, 24_JER_44_30 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life. #, 24_JER_46_02 Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah. #, 24_JER_46_13 The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come [and] smite the land of Egypt. #, 24_JER_46_26 And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants, and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD. #, 24_JER_49_28 Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east. #, 24_JER_49_30 Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you. #, 24_JER_50_17 Israel [is] a scattered sheep; the lions have driven [him] away, first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones. #, 24_JER_50_18 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. #, 24_JER_50_43 The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble, anguish took hold of him, [and] pangs as of a woman in travail. #, 24_JER_51_31 One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken at [one] end, #, 24_JER_51_34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out. #, 24_JER_52_03 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_52_04 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, [that] Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about. #, 24_JER_52_09 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him. #, 24_JER_52_10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah. #, 24_JER_52_11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death. #, 24_JER_52_12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, [which] served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem, #, 24_JER_52_15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive [certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude. #, 24_JER_52_26 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah. #, 24_JER_52_27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land. #, 24_JER_52_31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison, #, 24_JER_52_34 And [for] his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life. #, 26_EZE_17_12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these [things mean]? tell [them], Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; #, 26_EZE_19_09 And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon, they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel. #, 26_EZE_21_19 Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come, both twain shall come forth out of one land, and choose thou a place, choose [it] at the head of the way to the city. #, 26_EZE_21_21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination, he made [his] arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. #, 26_EZE_24_02 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, [even] of this same day, the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day. #, 26_EZE_26_07 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people. #, 26_EZE_29_18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus, every head [was] made bald, and every shoulder [was] peeled, yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it, #, 26_EZE_29_19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. #, 26_EZE_30_10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon. #, 26_EZE_30_24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand, but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded [man]. #, 26_EZE_30_25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. #, 26_EZE_32_11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee. #, 27_DAN_01_01 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. #, 27_DAN_07_01 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed, then he wrote the dream, [and] told the sum of the matters. #, ~ of Babylon to Riblah ~ 12_2KI_25_06 So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; serve the king of Babylon, and live, wherefore should this city be laid waste? #, 24_JER_28_02 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_28_04 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_29_22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which [are] in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon. #, 24_JER_36_29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? #, 24_JER_37_17 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out, and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there [any] word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is, for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_37_19 Where [are] now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? #, 24_JER_38_23 So they shall bring out all thy wives and thy children to the Chaldeans, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand, but shalt be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon, and thou shalt cause this city to be burned with fire. #, 24_JER_39_03 And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, [even] Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_39_03 And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, [even] Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_39_06 Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes, also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah. #, 24_JER_39_06 Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes, also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah. #, 24_JER_40_05 Now while he was not yet gone back, [he said], Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people, or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go. #, 24_JER_40_07 Now when all the captains of the forces which [were] in the fields, [even] they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon; #, 24_JER_40_09 And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans, dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you. #, 24_JER_40_11 Likewise when all the Jews that [were] in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that [were] in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan; #, 24_JER_41_02 Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land. #, 24_JER_41_18 Because of the Chaldeans, for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. #, 24_JER_42_11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD, for I [am] with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. #, 24_JER_43_10 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them. #, 24_JER_50_18 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. #, 24_JER_50_43 The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble, anguish took hold of him, [and] pangs as of a woman in travail. #, 24_JER_51_31 One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken at [one] end, #, 24_JER_51_34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out. #, 24_JER_52_03 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_52_09 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him. #, 24_JER_52_10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah. #, 24_JER_52_11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death. #, 24_JER_52_12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, [which] served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem, #, 24_JER_52_15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive [certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude. #, 24_JER_52_26 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah. #, 24_JER_52_27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land. #, 24_JER_52_34 And [for] his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life. #, 26_EZE_17_12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these [things mean]? tell [them], Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; #, 26_EZE_19_09 And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon, they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel. #, 26_EZE_21_19 Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come, both twain shall come forth out of one land, and choose thou a place, choose [it] at the head of the way to the city. #, 26_EZE_21_21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination, he made [his] arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. #, 26_EZE_24_02 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, [even] of this same day, the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day. #, 26_EZE_30_24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand, but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded [man]. #, 26_EZE_30_25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. #, 26_EZE_30_25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. #, 26_EZE_32_11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee. #, ~ the king of ~ 01_GEN_14_02 [That these] made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar. #, 01_GEN_14_08 And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same [is] Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim; #, 01_GEN_14_09 With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five. #, 01_GEN_14_17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that [were] with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which [is] the king's dale. #, 01_GEN_14_21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. #, 01_GEN_14_22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, #, 01_GEN_40_01 And it came to pass after these things, [that] the butler of the king of Egypt and [his] baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. #, 01_GEN_40_05 And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which [were] bound in the prison. #, 02_EXO_01_15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one [was] Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah, #, 02_EXO_01_17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. #, 02_EXO_01_18 And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive? #, 02_EXO_02_23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died, and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. #, 02_EXO_03_18 And they shall hearken to thy voice, and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us, and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. #, 02_EXO_03_19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. #, 02_EXO_05_04 And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. #, 02_EXO_14_05 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled, and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? #, 04_NUM_20_14 And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us, #, 04_NUM_21_26 For Heshbon [was] the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon. #, 04_NUM_21_33 And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan, and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei. #, 04_NUM_23_07 And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, [saying], Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel. #, 05_DEU_01_04 After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei, #, 05_DEU_03_01 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan, and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. #, 05_DEU_03_03 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people, and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. #, 05_DEU_11_03 And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land; #, 05_DEU_29_07 And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them, #, 06_JOS_02_02 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country. #, 06_JOS_02_03 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house, for they be come to search out all the country. #, 06_JOS_08_01 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed, take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai, see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land, #, 06_JOS_08_14 And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw [it], that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that [there were] liers in ambush against him behind the city. #, 06_JOS_08_23 And the king of Ai they took alive, and brought him to Joshua. #, 06_JOS_08_29 And the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until eventide, and as soon as the sun was down, Joshua commanded that they should take his carcase down from the tree, and cast it at the entering of the gate of the city, and raise thereon a great heap of stones, [that remaineth] unto this day. #, 06_JOS_10_05 Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it. #, 06_JOS_10_23 And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, [and] the king of Eglon. #, 06_JOS_10_28 And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that [were] therein; he let none remain, and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho. #, 06_JOS_10_30 And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that [were] therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho. #, 06_JOS_11_01 And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard [those things], that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph, #, 06_JOS_12_09 The king of Jericho, one; And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab, but he would not [consent], and Israel abode in Kadesh. #, 07_JUD_11_19 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place. #, 07_JUD_11_28 Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him. #, 09_1SA_12_09 And when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them. #, 09_1SA_12_12 And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us, when the LORD your God [was] your king. #, 09_1SA_15_08 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. #, 09_1SA_15_20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. #, 09_1SA_15_32 Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past. #, 09_1SA_21_10 And David arose, and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath. #, 09_1SA_21_11 And the servants of Achish said unto him, [Is] not this David the king of the land? did they not sing one to another of him in dances, saying, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands? #, 09_1SA_21_12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath. #, 09_1SA_22_03 And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab, and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, [and be] with you, till I know what God will do for me. #, 09_1SA_22_04 And he brought them before the king of Moab, and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold. #, 09_1SA_24_14 After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea. #, 09_1SA_26_20 Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD, for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains. #, 09_1SA_29_03 Then said the princes of the Philistines, What [do] these Hebrews [here]? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, [Is] not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell [unto me] unto this day? #, 10_2SA_06_20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! #, 10_2SA_10_01 And it came to pass after this, that the king of the children of Ammon died, and Hanun his son reigned in his stead. #, 10_2SA_19_32 Now Barzillai was a very aged man, [even] fourscore years old, and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he [was] a very great man. #, 11_1KI_09_11 ([Now] Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee. #, 11_1KI_20_01 And Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together, and [there were] thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots, and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it. #, 11_1KI_20_04 And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I [am] thine, and all that I have. #, 11_1KI_20_07 Then the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray you, and see how this [man] seeketh mischief, for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not. #, 11_1KI_20_11 And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell [him], Let not him that girdeth on [his harness] boast himself as he that putteth it off. #, 11_1KI_20_20 And they slew every one his man, and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them, and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on an horse with the horsemen. #, 11_1KI_20_21 And the king of Israel went out, and smote the horses and chariots, and slew the Syrians with a great slaughter. #, 11_1KI_20_22 And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest, for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee. #, 11_1KI_20_23 And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, Their gods [are] gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. #, 11_1KI_20_28 And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD [is] God of the hills, but he [is] not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD. #, 11_1KI_20_31 And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel [are] merciful kings, let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel, peradventure he will save thy life. #, 11_1KI_20_32 So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and [put] ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant Benhadad saith, I pray thee, let me live. And he said, [Is] he yet alive? he [is] my brother. #, 11_1KI_20_40 And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him, So [shall] thy judgment [be]; thyself hast decided [it]. #, 11_1KI_20_41 And he hasted, and took the ashes away from his face; and the king of Israel discerned him that he [was] of the prophets. #, 11_1KI_20_43 And the king of Israel went to his house heavy and displeased, and came to Samaria. #, 11_1KI_22_02 And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel. #, 11_1KI_22_03 And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead [is] ours, and we [be] still, [and] take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria? #, 11_1KI_22_04 And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I [am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses. #, 11_1KI_22_05 And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Inquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day. #, 11_1KI_22_06 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver [it] into the hand of the king. #, 11_1KI_22_08 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, [There is] yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the LORD, but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. #, 11_1KI_22_09 Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten [hither] Micaiah the son of Imlah. #, 11_1KI_22_10 And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. #, 11_1KI_22_18 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil? #, 11_1KI_22_26 And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son; #, 11_1KI_22_29 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead. #, 11_1KI_22_30 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle. #, 11_1KI_22_31 But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel. #, 11_1KI_22_32 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it [is] the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him, and Jehoshaphat cried out. #, 11_1KI_22_33 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it [was] not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him. #, 11_1KI_22_34 And a [certain] man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness, wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. #, 11_1KI_22_44 And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel. #, 12_2KI_01_03 But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, [Is it] not because [there is] not a God in Israel, [that] ye go to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? #, 12_2KI_03_04 And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool. #, 12_2KI_03_05 But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel. #, 12_2KI_03_07 And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me, wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up, I [am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, [and] my horses as thy horses. #, 12_2KI_03_07 And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me, wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up, I [am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, [and] my horses as thy horses. #, 12_2KI_03_09 So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom, and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey, and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them. #, 12_2KI_03_10 And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab! #, 12_2KI_03_11 But Jehoshaphat said, [Is there] not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here [is] Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. #, 12_2KI_03_12 And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. #, 12_2KI_03_13 And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay, for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab. #, 12_2KI_03_14 And Elisha said, [As] the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee. #, 12_2KI_03_26 And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through [even] unto the king of Edom, but they could not. #, 12_2KI_05_01 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria, he was also a mighty man in valour, [but he was] a leper. #, 12_2KI_05_05 And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand [pieces] of gold, and ten changes of raiment. #, 12_2KI_05_06 And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have [therewith] sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy. #, 12_2KI_05_07 And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, [Am] I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me. #, 12_2KI_05_08 And it was [so], when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel. #, 12_2KI_06_08 Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place [shall be] my camp. #, 12_2KI_06_09 And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. #, 12_2KI_06_10 And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. #, 12_2KI_06_11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not show me which of us [is] for the king of Israel? #, 12_2KI_06_12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king, but Elisha, the prophet that [is] in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. #, 12_2KI_06_21 And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite [them]? shall I smite [them]? #, 12_2KI_06_26 And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. #, 12_2KI_07_06 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, [even] the noise of a great host, and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. #, 12_2KI_08_07 And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither. #, 12_2KI_09_27 But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw [this], he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. [And they did so] at the going up to Gur, which [is] by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there. #, 12_2KI_13_04 And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him, for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them. #, 12_2KI_13_07 Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing. #, 12_2KI_13_14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. #, 12_2KI_13_16 And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand [upon it], and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands. #, 12_2KI_13_18 And he said, Take the arrows. And he took [them]. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. #, 12_2KI_14_09 And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent to the cedar that [was] in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife, and there passed by a wild beast that [was] in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle. #, 12_2KI_15_19 [And] Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand. #, 12_2KI_15_20 And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, [even] of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land. #, 12_2KI_15_37 In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah. #, 12_2KI_16_07 So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I [am] thy servant and thy son, come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me. #, 12_2KI_16_08 And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house, and sent [it for] a present to the king of Assyria. #, 12_2KI_16_09 And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him, for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried [the people of] it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin. #, 12_2KI_16_18 And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king's entry without, turned he from the house of the LORD for the king of Assyria. #, 12_2KI_17_04 And the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea, for he had sent messengers to So king of Egypt, and brought no present to the king of Assyria, as [he had done] year by year, therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him in prison. #, 12_2KI_17_05 Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years. #, 12_2KI_17_06 In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor [by] the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes. #, 12_2KI_17_24 And the king of Assyria brought [men] from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed [them] in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel, and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof. #, 12_2KI_17_26 Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land, therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land. #, 12_2KI_17_27 Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land. #, 12_2KI_18_07 And the LORD was with him; [and] he prospered whithersoever he went forth, and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not. #, 12_2KI_18_11 And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor [by] the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes, #, 12_2KI_18_14 And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me, that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold. #, 12_2KI_18_16 At that time did Hezekiah cut off [the gold from] the doors of the temple of the LORD, and [from] the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria. #, 12_2KI_18_17 And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rabshakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which [is] in the highway of the fuller's field. #, 12_2KI_18_19 And Rabshakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest? #, 12_2KI_18_23 Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them. #, 12_2KI_18_28 Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria, #, 12_2KI_18_30 Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. #, 12_2KI_18_31 Hearken not to Hezekiah, for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make [an agreement] with me by a present, and come out to me, and [then] eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern, #, 12_2KI_18_33 Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria? #, 12_2KI_19_04 It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard, wherefore lift up [thy] prayer for the remnant that are left. #, 12_2KI_19_06 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. #, 12_2KI_19_08 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah, for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish. #, 12_2KI_19_10 Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. #, 12_2KI_19_13 Where [is] the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivah? #, 12_2KI_19_32 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it. #, 12_2KI_20_06 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake. #, 12_2KI_20_18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. #, 12_2KI_22_16 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, [even] all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read, #, 12_2KI_22_18 But to the king of Judah which sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, [As touching] the words which thou hast heard; #, 12_2KI_23_13 And the high places that [were] before Jerusalem, which [were] on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile. #, 12_2KI_23_29 In his days Pharaohnechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates, and king Josiah went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him. #, 12_2KI_24_07 And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land, for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt. #, 12_2KI_24_12 And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers, and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign. #, 12_2KI_24_16 And all the men of might, [even] seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all [that were] strong [and] apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. #, 12_2KI_24_17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father's brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah. #, 12_2KI_24_20 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. #, 12_2KI_25_06 So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him. #, 12_2KI_25_08 And in the fifth month, on the seventh [day] of the month, which [is] the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem, #, 12_2KI_25_11 Now the rest of the people [that were] left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away. #, 12_2KI_25_20 And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah, #, 12_2KI_25_21 And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land. #, 12_2KI_25_23 And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men. #, 12_2KI_25_24 And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees, dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you. #, 13_1CH_19_01 Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his stead. #, 13_1CH_19_07 So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle. #, 14_2CH_02_03 And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, [even so deal with me]. #, 14_2CH_02_11 Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them. #, 14_2CH_16_07 And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand. #, 14_2CH_18_04 And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Inquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day. #, 14_2CH_18_05 Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver [it] into the king's hand. #, 14_2CH_18_07 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, [There is] yet one man, by whom we may inquire of the LORD, but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil, the same [is] Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. #, 14_2CH_18_08 And the king of Israel called for one [of his] officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla. #, 14_2CH_18_09 And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in [their] robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. #, 14_2CH_18_17 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee [that] he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil? #, 14_2CH_18_25 Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son; #, 14_2CH_18_28 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead. #, 14_2CH_18_29 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle. #, 14_2CH_18_30 Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that [were] with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel. #, 14_2CH_18_31 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It [is] the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight, but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them [to depart] from him. #, 14_2CH_18_32 For it came to pass, that, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back again from pursuing him. #, 14_2CH_18_33 And a [certain] man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness, therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. #, 14_2CH_18_34 And the battle increased that day, howbeit the king of Israel stayed [himself] up in [his] chariot against the Syrians until the even, and about the time of the sun going down he died. #, 14_2CH_19_01 And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem. #, 14_2CH_24_23 And it came to pass at the end of the year, [that] the host of Syria came up against him, and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus. #, 14_2CH_25_21 So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, [both] he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which [belongeth] to Judah. #, 14_2CH_25_23 And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits. #, 14_2CH_27_05 He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third. #, 14_2CH_28_05 Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought [them] to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter. #, 14_2CH_28_21 For Ahaz took away a portion [out] of the house of the LORD, and [out] of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave [it] unto the king of Assyria, but he helped him not. #, 14_2CH_32_07 Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that [is] with him, for [there be] more with us than with him, #, 14_2CH_32_11 Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria? #, 14_2CH_32_21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. #, 14_2CH_32_22 Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all [other], and guided them on every side. #, 14_2CH_33_11 Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. #, 14_2CH_34_24 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, [even] all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah, #, 14_2CH_34_26 And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall ye say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel [concerning] the words which thou hast heard; #, 14_2CH_36_03 And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold. #, 14_2CH_36_04 And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt. #, 14_2CH_36_17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age, he gave [them] all into his hand. #, 15_EZR_02_01 Now these [are] the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city; #, 15_EZR_04_03 But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us. #, 15_EZR_05_12 But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon. #, 15_EZR_05_13 But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon [the same] king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God. #, 15_EZR_06_22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy, for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel. #, 16_NEH_07_06 These [are] the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city; #, 16_NEH_09_22 Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners, so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan. #, 17_EST_02_06 Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away. #, 18_JOB_18_14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. #, 19_PSA_024_007 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. # , 19_PSA_024_009 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. # , 19_PSA_024_010 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he [is] the King of glory. Selah. # , 19_PSA_047_007 For God [is] the King of all the earth, sing ye praises with understanding. # , 19_PSA_136_020 And Og the king of Bashan, for his mercy [endureth] for ever, # , 23_ISA_07_01 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, [that] Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. #, 23_ISA_07_17 The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; [even] the king of Assyria. #, 23_ISA_07_20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, [namely], by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet, and it shall also consume the beard. #, 23_ISA_08_04 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria. #, 23_ISA_08_07 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, [even] the king of Assyria, and all his glory, and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks, #, 23_ISA_10_12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, [that] when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. #, 23_ISA_14_04 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! #, 23_ISA_20_01 In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it; #, 23_ISA_20_04 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with [their] buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. #, 23_ISA_20_06 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such [is] our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria, and how shall we escape? #, 23_ISA_36_02 And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah with a great army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field. #, 23_ISA_36_04 And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest? #, 23_ISA_36_08 Now therefore give pledges, I pray thee, to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them. #, 23_ISA_36_13 Then Rabshakeh stood, and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said, Hear ye the words of the great king, the king of Assyria. #, 23_ISA_36_15 Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. #, 23_ISA_36_16 Hearken not to Hezekiah, for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make [an agreement] with me [by] a present, and come out to me, and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern; #, 23_ISA_36_18 [Beware] lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria? #, 23_ISA_37_04 It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard, wherefore lift up [thy] prayer for the remnant that is left. #, 23_ISA_37_06 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. #, 23_ISA_37_08 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah, for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish. #, 23_ISA_37_10 Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. #, 23_ISA_37_13 Where [is] the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? #, 23_ISA_37_33 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it. #, 23_ISA_38_06 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city. #, 23_ISA_39_07 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. #, 23_ISA_41_21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong [reasons], saith the King of Jacob. #, 23_ISA_44_06 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God. #, 24_JER_20_04 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends, and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold [it], and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword. #, 24_JER_21_04 Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that [are] in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and [against] the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city. #, 24_JER_21_10 For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD, it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire. #, 24_JER_21_11 And touching the house of the king of Judah, [say], Hear ye the word of the LORD; #, 24_JER_22_01 Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word, #, 24_JER_24_08 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt, #, 24_JER_25_09 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. #, 24_JER_25_11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, [and] an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. #, 24_JER_25_12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, [that] I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations. #, 24_JER_25_26 And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which [are] upon the face of the earth, and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them. #, 24_JER_27_03 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah; #, 24_JER_27_06 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. #, 24_JER_27_08 And it shall come to pass, [that] the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand. #, 24_JER_27_09 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon, #, 24_JER_27_11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein. #, 24_JER_27_12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. #, 24_JER_27_13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? #, 24_JER_27_14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon, for they prophesy a lie unto you. #, 24_JER_27_17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live, wherefore should this city be laid waste? #, 24_JER_27_18 But if they [be] prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and [in] the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon. #, 24_JER_27_21 Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain [in] the house of the LORD, and [in] the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem; #, 24_JER_28_02 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_28_04 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_29_22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which [are] in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire; #, 24_JER_32_02 For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which [was] in the king of Judah's house. #, 24_JER_32_03 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; #, 24_JER_32_04 And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes; #, 24_JER_32_36 And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; #, 24_JER_34_02 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire, #, 24_JER_34_03 And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon. #, 24_JER_34_07 When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah, for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah. #, 24_JER_34_21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you. #, 24_JER_36_16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. #, 24_JER_36_28 Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned. #, 24_JER_36_29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? #, 24_JER_37_07 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to inquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. #, 24_JER_37_17 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out, and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there [any] word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is, for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_37_19 Where [are] now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? #, 24_JER_38_03 Thus saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which shall take it. #, 24_JER_38_17 Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house, #, 24_JER_38_18 But if thou wilt not go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then shall this city be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, and they shall burn it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand. #, 24_JER_38_22 And, behold, all the women that are left in the king of Judah's house [shall be] brought forth to the king of Babylon's princes, and those [women] shall say, Thy friends have set thee on, and have prevailed against thee, thy feet are sunk in the mire, [and] they are turned away back. #, 24_JER_38_23 So they shall bring out all thy wives and thy children to the Chaldeans, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand, but shalt be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon, and thou shalt cause this city to be burned with fire. #, 24_JER_39_03 And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, [even] Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_39_04 And it came to pass, [that] when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls, and he went out the way of the plain. #, 24_JER_39_06 Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes, also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah. #, 24_JER_39_13 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushasban, Rabsaris, and Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, and all the king of Babylon's princes; #, 24_JER_40_05 Now while he was not yet gone back, [he said], Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people, or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go. #, 24_JER_40_07 Now when all the captains of the forces which [were] in the fields, [even] they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon; #, 24_JER_40_09 And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans, dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you. #, 24_JER_40_11 Likewise when all the Jews that [were] in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that [were] in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan; #, 24_JER_40_14 And said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not. #, 24_JER_41_02 Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land. #, 24_JER_41_18 Because of the Chaldeans, for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. #, 24_JER_42_11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD, for I [am] with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. #, 24_JER_43_10 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them. #, 24_JER_50_17 Israel [is] a scattered sheep; the lions have driven [him] away, first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones. #, 24_JER_50_18 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. #, 24_JER_50_43 The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble, anguish took hold of him, [and] pangs as of a woman in travail. #, 24_JER_51_31 One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken at [one] end, #, 24_JER_51_34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out. #, 24_JER_51_59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And [this] Seraiah [was] a quiet prince. #, 24_JER_52_03 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. #, 24_JER_52_09 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him. #, 24_JER_52_10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah. #, 24_JER_52_11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death. #, 24_JER_52_12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, [which] served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem, #, 24_JER_52_15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive [certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude. #, 24_JER_52_26 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah. #, 24_JER_52_27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land. #, 24_JER_52_34 And [for] his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life. #, 26_EZE_17_12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these [things mean]? tell [them], Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; #, 26_EZE_19_09 And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon, they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel. #, 26_EZE_21_19 Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come, both twain shall come forth out of one land, and choose thou a place, choose [it] at the head of the way to the city. #, 26_EZE_21_21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination, he made [his] arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. #, 26_EZE_24_02 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, [even] of this same day, the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day. #, 26_EZE_28_12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. #, 26_EZE_30_24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand, but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded [man]. #, 26_EZE_30_25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. #, 26_EZE_32_11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee. #, 27_DAN_04_37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works [are] truth, and his ways judgment, and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. #, 27_DAN_05_30 In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. #, 27_DAN_08_21 And the rough goat [is] the king of Grecia, and the great horn that [is] between his eyes [is] the first king. #, 27_DAN_11_05 And the king of the south shall be strong, and [one] of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion [shall be] a great dominion. #, 27_DAN_11_06 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement, but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm, but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in [these] times. #, 27_DAN_11_07 But out of a branch of her roots shall [one] stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail, #, 27_DAN_11_08 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, [and] with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue [more] years than the king of the north. #, 27_DAN_11_09 So the king of the south shall come into [his] kingdom, and shall return into his own land. #, 27_DAN_11_11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, [even] with the king of the north, and he shall set forth a great multitude;
