And David said, [It is] my voice, my lord, O king. #, 09_1SA_27_01 And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul, [there is] nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel, so shall I escape out of his hand. #, 09_1SA_27_05 And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there, for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee? #, 09_1SA_27_10 And Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day? And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever. #, 09_1SA_29_08 And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king? #, 09_1SA_30_07 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. #, 09_1SA_30_13 And David said unto him, To whom [belongest] thou? and whence [art] thou? And he said, I [am] a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick. #, 09_1SA_30_15 And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And king David [himself] followed the bier. #, 10_2SA_05_08 And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, [that are] hated of David's soul, [he shall be chief and captain]. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant! #, 10_2SA_09_07 And David said unto him, Fear not, for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. #, 10_2SA_11_08 And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess [of meat] from the king. #, 10_2SA_11_12 And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow. #, 10_2SA_12_13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. #, 10_2SA_15_14 And David said unto all his servants that [were] with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not [else] escape from Absalom, make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword. #, 10_2SA_15_22 And David said to Ittai, Go and pass over. And Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones that [were] with him. #, 10_2SA_15_31 And [one] told David, saying, Ahithophel [is] among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness. #, 10_2SA_16_11 And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life, how much more now [may this] Benjamite [do it]? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him. #, 10_2SA_19_22 And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I [am] this day king over Israel? #, 10_2SA_20_06 And David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than [did] Absalom, take thou thy lord's servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fenced cities, and escape us. #, 10_2SA_24_10 And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people. #, 13_1CH_11_06 And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So David prepared abundantly before his death. #, 13_1CH_22_07 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, #, 13_1CH_28_20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do [it], fear not, nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, [even] my God, [will be] with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. #, 13_1CH_29_10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation, and David said, Blessed [be] thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. #, 13_1CH_29_20 And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. #, 10_2SA_12_19 But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead, therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. #, 10_2SA_15_14 And David said unto all his servants that [were] with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not [else] escape from Absalom, make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword. #, 10_2SA_21_03 Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD? #, 10_2SA_24_10 And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people.
